| This is the boot that connects the air flow meter to the intake manifold. This particular boot has an extra hole in it for a metal elbow. It is setup for an auxilary hose that connects to the intake, or to the valve cover depending on the year and this design is used on all 78 z's and most late 77's. Originally the 75-77 z's did not use that particular design but it was supposed to be upgraded during a pcv recall campaign in the 80's. If your car doesn't use that extra hole then you should order the other boot. See listing. Otherwise you can use this boot and just plug the hole off.
