| Each kit comes with 2 urethane bump stops which is enough to do 1 end of the car. In most cases the original bump stops have long since disappeared. The urethane bump stops should last just about forever.
The 79-83 280 ZX only use these on the front end of the car. Always be sure to replace those original foamex bump stops when doing shocks on these cars. We've done numerous cars through the years that the bump stops are completely gone. The foamex rubber dryrots very easily, and in the cases of the hotter climates we've seen them actually melt down over the strut tube. The urethane bump stops won't deteriorate or melt down. These units are designed to prevent the shock from bottoming out on itself and blowing out the shock which would void any warrantee. Last update 03/10 |
