| We're in the process of negotiating new pricing with the polishing company that we use, and we're hoping to be able to bring the price back down to where it was before. It should be figured out by the end of November. If you order before then, rest assured that you will be charged the posted price or the new price, whichever is the lesser amount. We temporarily don't have any of these units in stock so please allow an extra 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. A $75.00, 60 day refundable core charge is not included in the posted price. Be sure to figure that into you payment price. The store will automatically add that fee to your order at the time you complete it. Refunding of that core charge in full or in part is subject to inspection of your trade in. If your trade in or your valve cover that we're going to polish is already painted, then we will have to charge you extra to remove the existing paint. If you would like us to do your valve cover instead of buying one from us first the price will be the same, depending on the condition of your valve cover of course. We have 2 different models of polished valve covers. The street version is considerably less expensive than the show version because we don't do anywhere near the prep work before or after polishing. Their will usually be some surface defects in this version and it does shine, but it doesn't have the brilliance to it that the show version has. When the cover is installed on your engine you don't notice the imperfections anywhere near as much if at all because the valve cover is quite a few feet away from you when it's mounted on the engine. We don't have any valve covers for sale that say 2400 or Turbo so if you want those done you'll have to send us yours. If you want us to polish your existing valve cover that is fine, and the price remains the same, providing your valve cover doesn't have any extra damage. you just won't have to pay a core charge that way. We also have valve cover gaskets in stock if you need one of them as well. We also sell ceramic coated (called ChromeX), powder coated, and red or blue anodized valve covers. Last updated 11/11 |
