This is the mainshaft stake nut for all 77-80 5 speed transmissions. One thing that is distinctive about these tranmissions is the tail shaft housing is a silver matte finish vs. a silver smooth finish like the late 80-83 non turbo 5 speeds.
We recommend replacing the stake nuts every time they are unstaked and removed.
