We now sell the engine ID tags for the 240's from 70-73. That is the silver tag that is located in the engine compartment and it's about 3" by 5" in size. It is screwed to the body with 4 screws. These tags look exactly like the originals. The screening process is done very meticulously and the ink used is of the highest quality so it should last for many, many years. The prefix of the engine serial number as well as the prefix of the VIN number are already screened into these tags. It will be up to you to have the suffix of both of these numbers stamped into your tag once you receive it. That can be done by most trophy engraving companies. The 1971 and 1973 model year VIN tags aren't available at this time, only the engine ID tag. If you'd like a tag for one of those model years then send us an e-mail request. If we get enough requests then we'll talk to the manufacturer about making a fresh run for those years. All of the underhood decals are now being reproduced for us as well as the engine ID tag or plate. If you want to order a VIN tag and/or other decals at the same time that you order the engine ID tag, we can lower the price of those items after the first tag because that includes an incoming freight charge. You'll only be charged one incoming freight charge per shipment, regardless of whether it's 1 or 20 pieces or anywhere inbetween. These are a special order only item. Please allow an extra week for delivery.
