| This is a quality unit and are a GREAT addition to your ZX, both for comfort and looks as well. It uses a metal hinge on the right side, and the lid is overpadded to a perfect height for an armrest. They are wider than the console so if both people want to use them as an armrest at the same time, there's plenty of room for both. The foam used in these units is perfectly firm so it is extremely comfortable. The mirror switches are still totally accessible on all models. This newer and improved model has deeper cupholders than the original version and the cupholders go in the back for the zx's. Be sure to let us know the color you want your padded console lid to be. These console lids fit snugly onto your existing console and don't require any holes to drill or screws to install. These units will fit the coupes and the 2+2's but you won't be able to use the rear ash tray when this lid is installed. That's a good thing because you shouldn't be smoking in a z car anyway.
