| This listing is for a new brake master cylinder. For the 72-78 z's it is a direct bolt on. For it to work on the 70-71 z's you need to reverse the 2 lines that connect it to the brake distributor, and lengthen the push rod for the brake booster. The tip of the rod is removeable and it is too short. It must either be changed out with a longer one or it must be lengthened. It will not adjust out far enough to work properly on it's own. We also sell a new brake master made exclusively for the 70-71 240's which is subject to availability. See listing. We also sell a brake master cylinder for a lot less than this listing that is made in Taiwan and they're a direct bolt on as well. See listing. We can get the Nabco and/or Tokico brake master cylinders still, (those are the original factory brands), but the cost is significantly higher. Call for details. These master cylinders are setup so you can put the bleeder valves on either side. All you have to do is pull out the nipple on one side and the plug and ball on the other, then reverse the sides. It's that simple. If we happen to be out of stock we can usually fill the order within 1 or 2 business days. Last update 09/10 |
