| The first thing we do is put the covers in our hot pressure washer and clean them thoroughly. Then we send them off to our resident powder coater where he does a two stage coating process including clear coat which gives it a brilliant long lasting shine. Then it's baked in his oven at about 400 degrees f. Check out the other examples of custom valve covers that we have listed as well. A picture cannot capture the total visual impact that this unit has. It almost looks 3D because it changes colors so much between various shades of blue and green. It just depends on which angle you look at the cover. The best way to describe the color flip flopping is that it's very violent. This particular cover is for a L4 engine but we can have a 6 cylinder version done up so it looks exactly like this one if that's what you want. Send us an e-mail request if you'd like to see more pics of this unit. We have at our disposal, an airbrush artist that paints just about anything you want on just about any part. We have many different styles available and can sometimes even do custom work from a picture of your choosing. Prices do vary depending on the amount of work involved. Pictures don't do this valve cover any justice, it's even more impressive in person. These valve covers are sold on an exchange basis only and we can do them on a 4 cylinder cover just as easily as a 6 cylinder cover. |
