| You can really add that touch of custom to your engine compartment by installing a powder coated valve cover to your engine. You can choose from 110 different colors. We can also powder coat most other parts as well. Powder coating is the most durable way of painting just about anything. We only have yellow in stock so far. It only takes us about a week to get a cover coated in most colors. You can choose from 110 regular base colors. The color chart can be viewed at cardinalpaint.com just click on the product tab. We also offer multiple other colors including metallic colors, call or e-mail us for those details. We start out with a fairly good condition valve cover, clean it up in our hot parts washer and then sand it down smooth. In some cases we have to sand it 2 times over with 2 different grits of paper. Any scratches and light gouges are usually smoothed out. Then we send it off to the powder coater to have it painted. He goes to great lengths to prep the valve cover even further. All colors listed on the cardinalpaint.com website are considered regular colors and we also offer multiple special order colors as well. For special order colors including metallic colors there will be a surcharge of 45.00 for the special order powder, and an extra 15.00 for clear coat if you want it clear coated. Powder clear coating is highly recommended on all colors, but is mandatory for all metallic colors. It adds shine to the color and it also adds more durability. Well worth the extra 15.00 A $75.00, 60 day refundable core charge is not included in the posted price. Be sure to add that to you payment price. Refunding of that core charge in full or in part is subject to inspection of your trade in. If your trade in or your valve cover that we're going to polish is already painted, then we will have to charge you extra to remove the existing paint. Be sure to check out our other valve cover looks as well. If you would like us to do your valve cover instead of buying one from us the price will be the same, depending on the condition of your valve cover. Turbo valve covers, do cost extra, because we have to strip the paint off of them. We are going to be offering a tri-coat special as well. This is where we can powder coat your valve cover, your air cleaner, and your oil pan all the same color giving you a totally unique custom look.
