| This 18 piece kit includes all 6 main bearings, the roller bearing for the reverse idler, 4 syncro rings, front and rear shaft seals, the front cover gasket, both shaft stake nuts, the speedo pinion o-ring, and the speedo pinion seal. This particular transmission doesn't use an actual 5th gear syncro ring. Be sure to check the condition of your clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bushing, and rear engine seal while you have your transmission out. This kit is for the non turbo transmission only. It will not fit the Borg Warner transmissions. The 77-80 5 speed transmission is easily identified. The tailshaft housing on the outside is a matte aluminum finish. We will be adding pics of the different transmissions to our website soon. The mainshaft stake nut on this model of transmission uses right hand threads. If you have any problem identifying your transmission, just let us know when you place your order. We'll contact you with more info on what to look for when we process your order. The K at the end of the part number indicates that we put this kit together ourselves.
