| This listing is for the right outer tie rod for all base model 79-81 280 zx's. The base model was the only model that came with a manual rack and pinion steering system. All the rest of the non turbo cars used a steering box style steering and none of the parts are interchangeable with any other model. Note: the 81 turbos came with power rack and pinion steering and in 82-83 all models came with the same power rack steering. Note: if you change over to our upgraded inner tie rods for this model of zx, then this tie rod will fit either side. Otherwise, it is different than the left side. This model does not use a zerk for lubing, it comes prelubed from the factory. If you'd like a model with a zerk, we can get those as well but they may cost a few dollars more. Call for details.
