| This relay kit is too simple to install. It fits under the steering column and plugs right into the cars wiring harness. Then you take the other leads and run them to the battery directly for power. It takes all the high current draw away from the headlight switch and fuse block so that you won't overload that circuit anymore. A very simple solution to an age old problem in the 240's. The dash and tail light fuse in the third one down on the right hand side. The dash and tail lights will also be brighter once you install this kit because just like the headlight circuit there is about a 3 volt drop in voltage from the battery to the lights. We also sell a brighter dash light bulb that will really make a huge difference in your z. See listing. Only use these hotter bulbs after you've installed a relay kit though. Otherwise, it will overload your switch. We also recommend bypassing the dash light rheostat that is on the bottom of the dash. It's very easy to bypass, simply unplug the two wires that go to it and plug the 2 ends from the wire loom into each other. Your lights will be slightly brighter and you'll never have to worry about the rheostat causing your dash lights to flicker or fail ever again. We also sell a headlight relay kit for the 240's. See listing. We can get a hotter light bulb for the dash lights that you can safely use but ONLY AFTER installing a relay kit. Then you can actually see your dash light up properly at night.
