| This kit includes: 2 Used SU carb assemblies, and 2 new float gaskets. It does not include the linkage that goes between the carbs, nor does it include the carb springs. The linkage and springs have gone obsolete. We're actively looking for a new supplier/manufacturer for these parts. We make sure that all moving parts are moving properly and well lubed as needed. We also make sure that the float heights are set properly and the screens in the fuel banjo fittings are in good shape and clean. We do a bench adjust on the fuel mixture as well which may or may not be right for your specific car. We can sell rebuilt carbs as well or we can rebuild yours. If we have to rebuild the throttle shafts, that does cost extra, and when we do the shafts, the carbs will still appear to be original so they will pass underhood inspection for concourse cars. Note: these carbs with linkage will bolt right up to the 73 and 74 intake manifolds without any mods to the carbs or manifolds. We also stock some of the components needed for overhauling these carbs as needed. We can modify your 73-74 carb linkage to fit the SU carbs and will be selling that linkage on an exchange basis only. This kit does not include the carb insulators. They must be ordered separately. You can either order them from their specific listing for your year, or you can add them to this order using the comment section of the order form. If you have a 73 or 74 z with the original sidedraft Hitachi carbs we can also put together a conversion kit with all the parts you'll need and some instructions as well. For those of you that don't know, the easiest way to tell the difference in the Hitachi's vs. the SU's is look at the fuel line on the rear carb. If you already have SU's the fuel line goes to the back side of the carb on the rear carb. If you have the original Hitachi's then the fuel line goes to the front side of the rear carb.
