We're in the process of developing a 210 mph speedometer conversion for the analog 280 zx from 79-83. You can either send us the speedo head out of your zx first and we'll modify it, or you can order one from us outright, and pay the refundable core charge. Only good working units with good uncracked face plates are acceptable trade in's. You will have 60 days from the date on the receipt we send you, to return your good working core or your core charge of 125.00 will not be refunded.

We build these units as needed and we need some information about your car. We'll need to know what year your zx is, whether you have cruise control or not,  what the odometer reading is on your car, and what transmission you have in your car. When we assemble and calibrate the replacement units we will reset the odometer reading to be fairly close to the one in your car. The inner circle on the speedo face will still list the speedo in kilometers which will be 335 kph.

We're not exactly sure of the price yet but it will between 150.00 and 200.00 plus your core charge of 125.00.

If you're going to ship us your core first, let us know and we can explain how to pack your speedo head properly so it won't get damaged in shipment. We will also have a pic on file to e-mail to you showing the proper way to pack a speedo head and we can send the pic to you if you'd like.  We will be posting a pic of the finished unit as soon as we're done with our prototype. At that time we will figure out what the cost will be for these units. If you're interested feel free to let us know.
