These wires generally last at least 150,000 miles, usually more. These wires are virtually shock proof - the wires are sealed in a special tough insulating jacket.

I've been doing it for years and never so much as a tickle. When you pull the plug wire off of a spark plug, I've never had one of the ends pull out of the connector on these NGK wires and stay on the spark plug like so many inferior quality aftermarket brands do.
