| This listing is for a single side of a 3 point replacement retractable seat belt assymbly. One of these kits includes enough to do either the drivers side as well as the passenger side. Check it out, we now have a new much lower price for these belts because we're dealing directly with the manufacturer's outlet. The original 240 used a 3 point seat belt, but it was not retractable until 72 and even then it was an option, and was not standard equipment. The 70-71 belts are a big pain to use and they restrict necessary movement inside the car to say the least. The 72-73 style was better, but it still has limitations, especially the non retractable version. It's very common for the retracting mechanism to break on the original 240 belts, which is not a good thing. Finally we have a very practical answer for a good price. These kits can be made to fit any vehicle, and for the early z's, they might as well be considered a direct bolt in. For the 70-71 240's it does require drilling 1 hole for each side to install properly. For the 72-73 z's, no drilling is necessary. All mounting hardware is included in these kits. These are a retro seat belt with a modern aircraft style latching mechanism and they meet all safety regulations mandated by the federal government. Many vehicles in the 60's and 70's didn't have a good seat belt system and these new units are a nice addition to any car or truck. We have installed these kits in z's, 510's, 521, and 620 pickups so far. They come with all mounting hardware included. While the picture only shows enough to do one side, this listing is for a pair of seat belt assymblies so you'll get twice as many as are in the posted picture. We also sell 2 point retractable lap belt only systems for most vehicles, and also retractable retro seat belt kits for most other classic cars. Call for details. For the 3 point system you do need a threaded insert higher up on the B pillar. If your vehicle doesn't have that, then you'll have to modify it to install these belt kits.
