| This listing is for a new rocker panel assembly for the right side of a coupe from 1970 to 1978. This is a new addition to the list of rust replacement sections and it's waaaay better than the old one we use to sell. This one looks like an exact duplicate of the original one that came from Nissan. They've done a very nice job designing and making these pieces. It has both the front and rear sections that disappear behind the sheet metal just like the original ones. The front end fits underneath the fender and it has all the stock udulations as well as the 2 nuts in it so you can bolt the fender to it. The rear part disappears under the rocker panel end also known as the dog leg. It has the steps in it for the door jamb as well as the pinch weld area top and bottom. This piece is only available for the coupes, but you could use this particular piece on a 2+2 with some modifications. We sell both the left and right side individually. Uses 1 per vehicle. This piece measures out to be 6-1/8" tall x 4" wide x 53" long. We list this piece right now as weighing 20 lbs. to give a more accurate shipping price or possibly a little higher than it will actually be. After you order the piece, we can give you a more accurate shipping cost once we have your shipping information. After we ship a few of these we'll be able to fine tune the stores shipping estimate a little better by adjusting the weight accordingly. This part actually weighs about 5 lbs. Note: We recommend using anti-sieze on all exterior bolts on these cars, ESPECIALLY the bolts that hold the bottom of the fender to this rocker panel. If we happen to be out of stock please allow an extra week for delivery providing that the manufacturer has some in stock at the time. Last update 08/10 |
