| We have finally finished redesigning our speakerboards for the 77-78 coupes. These are our new and improved version and are a Z Specialties exclusive. We hand assemble each of these boards ourselves. They look like they belong there and will give you a sweet sounding stereo. They're similiar to the version that we use to sell, but these are an improved design by comparison, and we've also lowered the price by 25.00 per board. No matter what kind of stereo you're putting in your z, these speaker boards are the way to go. The front side is covered with a black felt like speaker fabric material. The backside of these speakerboards are covered with a thick jute-like material and a bass port is installed to give you maximum bass response. They are precut for 2 - 6"x9" speakers (not included) and these boards really look like they belong there. All mounting hardware is included. We sell and recommend using the Infinity series speakers to get the maximum results and quality out of these speaker boards. Be sure to check out our prices on these speakers. We offer 2 different models of this board with 2 different prices. The posted price will be for the black speaker fabric covered version. We also offer the uncovered or bare version so you can cover it yourself and save yourself some money. Early 1977 Z-car requires modification of rear fiberboard floor where it curves up to meet the hatch to install.
