| Considering installing some custom race seats in your car? Maybe some Recaro's or Momo's, or Racetech, some Sparco's or some other well known brand name? In the past the only option was to pay someone to design and fabricate the brackets on an individual basis. That took hours to accomplish and was very expensive. Now you can buy already made mounting plates so you can install the seats yourself. These plates are custom made mounting plates so you can put almost any high performance aftermarket racing seat into your car. These mounting plates are laser cut and each one is perfectly made out of high quality heavy duty 3/16" thick steel plate. They won't bend or warp no matter how large or small you are. Then the manufacturer welds on custom made tabs to individualize the mounting plates so that they will fit a particular vehicle precisely. Then they are painted black. We also sell some side mounting plates and mounting hardware for an additional fee. We will be adding them to our store soon. Call or e-mail us for details. One plate is for one side of the car, so if you're putting in a pair of seats be sure to order one for each side. Temporarily we're leaving this as one listing for all models. We will be listing them all separately eventually. If you want a mated pair then order 2 plates. Then be sure to leave a note in the comment section of the order form letting us know what model you need the seat plates for. We have these mounting plates available for the PL510's, 70-74 z's, and the 74.5-78 z's, and coming soon is the kit for the 79-83 280 zx's. If you want a plate for a 280zx just place your order and we'll inform the manufacturer. They told us that they will start making plates for that model as soon as we place an order. We won't charge your card until the plate or plates are ready to ship to you. The ZX plates will take 2 to 4 weeks extra. We do not carry these plates in stock. Please allow an extra week to receive our order. NOTE: the plate in the pic is for the drivers side or left side of a PL510. More pics to follow. Last update 02/12 |
