| This wire is also known as the short primary ignition wire for the distributor. It connects the points to the junction block on the side of the distributor, and it's a very special design. It's critical to use this style of wire for this application because it's a soft and extremely flexible wire. Everytime you accelerate this wire has to move or flex. It's designed to last many, many thousands of miles. Use the wrong wire and it won't last long, leaving you stranded on the side of the road. This short lead is used on the dual point distributors only. Requires 2 per car. If you have a single points type distributor then you need to use the Points Wire Long- Single points style.
