| This wire is known as the long primary ignition wire. It is used on the single points type distributors only and is the long style wire. It is imperative that you use the correct wire inside any distributor. Use the wrong type of wire and it will not last very long because it is not meant to flex that much. This wire is designed to handle the flex needed for many, many thousands of miles. Everytime that you accelerate, the breaker plate moves and so does this wire. This wire connects the junction block to the ignition points. For the dual points type distributors you'll need to use the Points Wire Short. See listing. Last updated 04/09 |
