| This is a factory Nissan PCV valve. They're the only type that we'll use in the shop. This particular valve is the one that should be used on all L series engines (both 4 and 6 cylinder) when using carburation. It is the same one that is used on all Naps/Z engines as well as A series engines as long as they have 1 or more carburetors. If you have a car that was fuel injected and you changed it over to carburation then you need to change to this PCV valve as well. All Datsun/Nissan carb'd engines utilize a crankcase that can build pressure. A Datsun/Nissan injected engines utilize a crankcase that operates under vacuum. It stands to reason that they should take different PCV valves accordingly. If you have a turbocharged/injected engine then you need an entirely different PCV valve yet.
