| Powder coat your oil pan and make it look awesome. Powder coating is one of the most durable products ever made. We can also have our new tri-coat package done. We powder coat your oil pan, air cleaner, and valve cover all the same color giving it a totally unique and custom look. We start out by hot tanking the oil pan to remove all the crud and most of the paint. Then, we work the gasket surface of the pan making sure that the gasket surface is as flat as possible to ensure a tight seal after installation. The next step is to treat any rust on the oil pan with chemicals to neutralize it. Then it's off to the powder coaters where they go to great lengths to make sure that the pan is clean and sterile then they shoot the oil pan and then bake it at high temp. You have 110 colors to choose from for the regular listed price. If you want a special order powder color on your pan then there is a 45.00 surcharge, and if you want it clear coated that costs an extra 15.00. If you want a metallic paint then it's mandatory to have it clear coated. Powder clear coating makes the product shine more and it also makes it more durable. Be sure to let us know the year of your car when you place your order so we can be sure to get you the right oil pan. On the 70-71 z's we'd need to know if your oil drain is on the side of the pan or on the back of the pan. Note that on most pans there may be some light casting marks or imperfections in the surface such as small dents or light wobbles. We try to get them as smooth as reasonably possible. | | NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, EXCHANGES, OR EXCEPTIONS ON SPECIAL ORDER PARTS. |
These are sold on an exchange basis and the 60 day refundable core charge is 75.00. The core charge is not included in the sale price so be sure to add that cost to your order. All oil pan cores are subject to inspection. If damage is above what we consider normally acceptable we will charge your core charge a fee ranging from a partial refund to zero refund for the ones that aren't repairable by normal means. NEVER pry these oil pans off the block or you could possibly ruin it. Not even a light prying. |
