| This listing is for the ignition switch for all dual tumbler z cars. This listing does not include the lock itself, only the electrical portion of the ignition. They are a replaceable switch, held in by 2 screws. They are easily replaceable without pulling the ignition lock itself off of the car. Originally the 70-71 z's had a single sided key and that style of lock will not accept this style of switch. Many of the 70-71 cars have been converted to the newer style dual sided key and they will accept this switch just fine. Dual sided keys have grooves cut on both sides so you can put the key in the lock either way and it will work just fine. |
