| This listing is for two idler arm bushings in kit form. This is enough to do one car. All 280 zx's with power steering from 79-81 (except turbo) used the box style steering linkage and uses an idler arm. No need to replace the entire arm, just replace the bushings. Much easier that way as well as a whole lot less expensive. These bushings are easy to replace and no special tools are required. You simply unbolt the idler arm from the mount, then unbolt the mount from the frame and slide it off. Clean the bushing surfaces off on the metal parts, grease it up with synthetic grease, slide the 2 bushings into place and put the mount back onto the idler arm and install the nut. Then bolt the mount back up to the frame and torque all 3 nuts and bolts as needed. It's that simple. We can ship this USPS inside the US for 4.50 if you'd like. Just put a note in the comment section of the order form stating that and we'll take care of you. Last update 08/10 |
