These units are brand new and are a direct bolt in replacement to your manual style heater control valve with the capilliary tube. These particular units don't use the cap tube, but they will still function normally in your zx, just like the original units. THEY ARE A DIRECT BOLT AND REQUIRE ZERO MODIFICATIONS TO INSTALL. Yes, we guarantee this because we've installed lots of these valves ourselves.
Even though this valve looks different than the type of valve with the capilliary tube, it is still a direct bolt in and does not require any modifications to fit. We do have pics on file of this valve in the installed position on a heater box. They may help you when installing your replacement valve.
