| These are rebuilt heater control valves that originally used the capillary tube. We rebuild these valves as needed. Sometimes we do have them in stock already rebuilt. If we don't happen to have any in stock go ahead and place your order. We usually rebuild a few at a time but sometimes it takes us a few weeks to work it into our schedule. If we have some orders in front of us, that tends to make us speed up our scheduling if at all possible. All models of 76-78 used this particular valve regardless of whether it has AC or not. That valve has been discontinued by Nissan a few years ago, and no one makes an aftermarket unit. We do not sell the parts outright, we only sell them as a rebuilt valve on an exchange basis, or rebuild your valve. When you place an order we do need to know whether or not your capilliary tube is still attached or not. It is CRITICAL that you let us know whether your cap tube is still intact or not when you place your order. If we send you a valve with a good cap tube and you return a valve with a cut cap tube, THEN WE WILL KEEP PART OF YOUR CORE CHARGE IF NOT ALL OF IT. These valves are sold on an exchange basis only and the 60 day refundable core charge is 75.00 for the valves with a cut capillary tube and 140.00 core charge with the cap tube still intact. The 60 day period starts from the day that we ship the rebuilt valve to you. These rebuilt valves are guaranteed against leakage for a period of 12 months from the date that we shipped them off to you. In the case of the cars that have factory AC, they also use a vacuum controlled heater valve, see listing for details. For your old valve to be an acceptable core it must be unmolested and intact. If it has been taken apart already or damaged in any way, then you may or may not get any or all of your core charge refunded to you. It is at our discretion as to whether your valve is still rebuildable or not, subject to inspection. NEVER use pliers on the hoses to get them loose, you can cause tube damage.
