| These are a 6 into 1 tuned header. It has equal length tubes that empty into a collector with a 3 bolt flange on the end. The model has round ports and fits the N47 or P series heads when installed on a first gen car from 70-78. The posted price is for an uncoated header, although the picture listed is of the same model header coated with Chromex. Chromex is a ceramic coating that looks like chrome and we charge 235.00 for that service. We use a local company that does a superb job for all our ceramic and powder coating needs. We do not carry this header in stock at this time, it is considered a special order only. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the manufacturer to ship the header to us, before we can ship it to you. These headers do require that you modify the PCV heat shield for clearance. We do sell those heat shields modified in an uncoated version and in a Chromex version as well. We do charge a core charge for those shields. In some cases we would need some measurements off of your heat shield to make sure that we have the correct one in stock to send to you. These heat shields must be ordered separately, they do not come with the header. If you don't use a heat shield, then it will burn through the hose for the PCV valve which can cause some driveability and emissions problems. See Listing. Last update 04/07 |
