| These are a stock gas cap replacement unit. They look exactly like the original ones. Each cap comes with 2 new keys. These caps can sometimes be recoded to accomondate your existing key cut for an additional charge. Locking gas cap locking procedures: If these caps are in the locked or unlocked position, the cap will not free wheel going clockwise. You can install the cap in either one of those positions. When the cap is locked it will free wheel going counter clockwise so when it's installed you cannot unscrew it from the car. The key turns 1/4 turn is all to lock or unlock it. Last update 08/10 |
