| The fuel tank sending units have been discontinued and are obsolete in the US and Japan. Sometimes we can repair your sender in house which costs less than the posted price. Sometimes we have to send them to a company that rebuilds them for us, which is for the posted price in most cases. There is a 150.00 core charge that is not included in the posted price. The core charge will automatically be added to your order by our online store at the time you place your order. Your credit card will not actually be charged the core charge until the rebuilt unit is sent off to you, provided that you didn't send us yours first for rebuilding. We do charge your card for the actual rebuilding price IF we have to send it out for an overhaul. We don't send a core to the rebuilder until you have paid for that service first. Then we can send in our core or yours for rebuilding which takes 3 to 4 weeks lead time. There is no difference between coupe and 2+2 fuel senders. Your core is subject to inspection and it MUST be identical in design to the one that we send to you or you will not get your core charge refund.
