| These are a bench mounted English Wheel that we use to make on site as needed. These are a copy of the same version that we built and use to use in our shop for doing custom metal fabrication, so it is tried and proven in the field and has had plenty of use to prove itself to us. It has almost a 22 inch span so you can work some fairly large pieces of metal. Now you can build or restore fenders, hoods, aprons and a variety of other pieces of sheet metal for all kinds of applications. We built these units so you can clamp them tightly into your bench vise and have a solid working base.
This unit is hand crafted by us using high quality box steel. With an english wheel you can take a roughly formed piece of sheet metal and transform it into a smooth, wrinkle free shape, ready for sanding and painting. This unit only has the one roller and di that comes with it, but you can customize the di as needed. You can also buy other bearings and modify them to fit your needs. We've decided not to make these units anymore because it takes us too long to make them and that raises the price up too high. We're selling off this last remaining unit at well below cost. It's less than half the price we use to sell them for. Once it's gone, then it's gone for good. This unit only comes with 1 pair of rollers and it's the unit that we use to use in the shop so it is slightly used. The key word is slightly.
