| Fits the body of right-hand side of 1970-78 Coupe Z-cars and goes all the way around the door opening . This is the gasket that attaches to the body itself and it comes with the welting already attached. These gasket don't require any modifications to install. We recommend lubing all body gaskets with a product called Sil-Glyde after you install them. This should be done at least once a year to keep your gaskets from hardening. We carry that special lube in stock. See listing. When you purchase these gaskets from us, we include easy to understand installation instructions. These are typed up by us and are not the tyical generic instructions that we've all seen in the past. Some things to check when installing our gaskets. Make sure that the door is centered properly in the door opening. Make sure that your striker is adjusted properly. Make sure that your hinges are in good repair. Make sure that the door panel doesn't interfere with the weatherstripping. Most importantly, make sure that your latch mechanism is properly lubed. The roller wheel on the 70-76 cars should be lubed once a year if the car is used regularly and/or parked outside. We recommend using Zep 45 for lube. Do not use spray grease, that will make things worse. On the 77-78 cars you need to stick a wand up inside the door latch and give it a squirt periodically. This gasket will not fit the 2+2 models.
