| This listing is for the passenger side door switch for all z's from 70-78 as well as most trucks from 68-79 and many 4 cylinder cars from the late 60's to the early 80's. This is the new and improved design. It utilizes 1 hot wire just like the original one, and it also uses an auxilary ground wire soldered right to the outside of the case so you'll never have to worry about the switch not working due to an insufficient ground. It does require you to run a new ground wire to the body from this switch. Make sure you use good connectors on each end of your new ground wire and screw it to a clean metal surface. We recommend using di-electric grease on all connections, especially the ones that are exposed. These switches will work just fine on the Fairlady cars as well, just reverse the sides.
