| This listing is for the Crane Fireball 700 module replacement kit. Crane is once again back in business making these replacements for the 74-78 z's, and the 79-81 280 zx's with the E12-80 distributor modules. The E12-80 modules were used in the 79-81 zx's, 810's, and Maximas, as well as the A10/510 and 210 cars. This Fireball unit has a black box that mounts on the left fender apron and hooks up to a pickup system (also included) that replaces the stock pickup system inside the distributor. If you have a 82-83 zx or even up to the 84 Maxima, they used an efi connector as well as the T connector going to the module. This kit will work on those cars as well, but you won't be able to use the efi connector. We've found a high failure ratio on the stock replacement E12-80 modules for these distributors and this Crane system hasn't had any failures at all, in all the years we've been selling and installing them. If you have a distributor with a 2x2" black module on the outside of it, this is the replacement kit for that module. You will also be replacing the pickup coil inside the distributor with this kit. They're very easy to install, and we've never had a single case of a running problem with these units. We're very pleased that this replacement kit is once again available. For the 82-83 280 zx as well as the 82-84 Maxima modules, they use an efi connector on the module as well as the T plug in on the top. That efi hookup cannot be used with these Crane units which may adversely affect your fuel mileage and/or performance.
