| This clutch kit is made by Exedy. They also are known as Daikin and this company makes excellent clutches. We rate them as better than OEM. They are perfect for not only the stock applications but also for the higher horsepower applications as well. These units will definently take some abuse, but if you're into doing a lot of drag racing and/or you have over 225hp at the crank, then we'd recommend going to one of our ACT or Centerforce clutch kits. This clutch kit includes clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bushing, and a clutch alignment tool. This is the same brand clutch kit that we use in our shop, and we've never had a single come back on this brand. When you order one of these kits from us be sure to ask us for specific installation procedures that will help you do a perfect installation. It's always a good idea to replace the rear engine seal at the same time that you do a clutch. They're easy to replace and don't take much time at all once you've removed the flywheel. See listing. This kit will not fit the 2+ 2 cars or the turbo cars. Those use a completely different clutch setup. One thing that is specific about this kit is that the pressure plate uses 6 bolts vs. the 2+2 and turbo cars use a 9 bolt plate. This kit uses a much heavier pressure plate than the 240's do, but this kit can be made to fit the 240's as long as you use the proper length throw out bearing collar which you can also order from us.
