| This listing is for a choke pull also known as a choke brake. It is a vacuum operated pod that opens the choke flap slightly after cold start up. It fits all stock electric choke carbs for the L series engine. If this unit is bad on your carb, then the choke flap doesn't open up a little bit after the engine starts up when cold. It remains totally closed for a little bit and causes an extra rich problem. The choke flap should be almost entirely closed when the engine is cold (before you start it) in temps below 60 degrees.
