| This listing is for a complete premium grade carpet kit for all early 77 280 z coupes. This kit provides enough carpet for you to cover all passenger areas and the rear deck as well. Our premium grade kit is made using a special heat moulded process. All pieces are cut and sewn, then put into a special mold where they inject plastic onto the back side of the carpet. This helps the carpet keep it's shape, and it also helps it resist mold and mildew damage. Then all pieces have padding glued onto the backside of the carpet. All exposed edges have sewn bound edges including the entire rear deck carpet. All passenger area pieces have to be trimmed to fit. All bolt and/or screw holes have to be cut into the carpet and backing. These kits do require a fair amount of work, but the end result is very nice and looks stock. The pieces for the passenger area are not exactly like the original kit, but once they're installed they look just about the same. When trimming the passenger area carpet, we recommend cutting them longer than you think you'll need. If you're using the original carpet as a template, then cut them even longer. The end result will be much better. There are a few areas that were not long enough on the original carpet and they showed paint. Note: all 77-78 coupes use the false floor in the back. This kit is for the early 77 which the false floor angles up at about a 45 degree angle for the last 8 to 10 inches. The later (newer) 77 floor is completely flat just like the 78 280's are, and this listing is not for the later 77's. If you have the flat false floor then order the 77.5-78 kit. We order these kits directly from the manufacturer so please allow at least an extra week for delivery. In many cases we have them drop shipped directly to you from the manufacturer so you won't have to pay extra freight. Shipping for this kit usually runs about 44.00 inside the US. The pic we are listing with this shows a 77 drivers side so it shows the reinforcements just like stock. It also shows sun spots which aren't on the carpet.
