| If you're looking for a good high performance camshaft go to our high performance section. We sell numerous custom grinds and carry some of them in stock as well. We can advise you as to what cam will work best in your engine. We have lots of good used stock cams in stock. See listing. Assembled valve stem height is extremely critical on L series engines as is using the proper sized lash pad. It is also critical to make sure that you rocker arms are in good shape, and your valve train geometry is within specs. For those of you that are using the externally oiled cams make double sure that you have the newer version of the cam oiler in your engine, and that your oiler is not getting plugged up. These are all reasons why camshafts and valve trains fail prematurely. |
