| These are brand new master cylinders for the 79-81 280 ZX's. We have finally found a new supplier for these units. They are getting harder to find and the price has been climbing. This is the least expensive supplier that we've been able to find. Our other suppliers put the cost at least 100.00 higher over this one. We're looking into finding a supplier for the rebuild kits for these master cylinders. We'll update any info as soon as we have it. These masters are the unit of choice for the 70-78 z's as well as the 510's when doing the rear disc conversion kits. They are a direct bolt on, but on the 70-71's you do have to replumb the lines to the master cylinder because the original ones for those years used the front reservoir for the front brakes. In 1972 and newer the front reservoir is for the rear brakes. For that specific application you also need to lengthen the push rod going into the master from the booster, and you will probably need to length the push rod at the brake pedal end as well. Otherwise change to a booster for a 72-73 240.. These are temporarily on special order only- please allow an extra week for delivery.Subject to availability, at the posted price.
