| The only safe way to secure your battery. These frames will fit Group 24 batteries and the Optima SC34A batteries only. Those are the proper sized batteries for your 70-78 Z. We recommend, use, and install Interstate or Optima batteries only for all cars. We have found most other brand names to leak acid or sulphate and we hate rot on z's. These metal frames bolt to the firewall and then use a J-bolt to fasten to the battery tray. The only way to safety secure your battery. The J bolt and nut are not included, they must be purchased separately. See listings. Let us know if you need a new bolt with built in washers to secure your frame to the firewall for an extra 1.25.
