| This is a custom made straight tube that we make in house. This tube completely eliminates the air flow meter and converts it over to a map sensor which is by far superior. This system WILL NOT work on the stock efi system. It is used when you convert to a laptop programmable standalone fuel management system like Megasquirt or various other systems that are available. We start with an aluminized steel pipe cut to length. Then we machine nice bead rolled ends into the tube to provide better sealing. Next we drill a hole in the middle where we weld a threaded bung hole for the map sensor. Then we have the tube single stage powder coated inside and out. The map sensor is not included but can be purchased separately. See listing. Provided that our powder coater has a particular single stage color in stock, you can pick just about any color you want to have these units powder coated. Be sure to leave a note in the comment section of the order form stating which color you prefer your tube to be. If you choose a color other than Red please allow an extra 7 to 10 days to receive your order. We do not carry other colors in stock and this allows our powder coater to schedule in your order. The posted price does include the powder coating fee. If you'd like the tube not to be coated that will lower the price by 15.00. If you'd like a pipe made to a different length than we make these units then let us know what length you'd prefer. In that case please allow a few extra days to work it into our schedule and build your custom tube. If you'd like a longer tube that is mandrel bent just let us know.
