These kits are now available and ready for sale. This is a plug'n'play kit that takes all the high current draw out of the headlight switches, stock wiring, and fuse block. They're very easy to install in your 240 Z and come with easy to understand installation instructions. It comes complete with plugs, wiring, relays, new ends, and it's all preassembled. No wiring, cutting, crimping or splicing is needed This should make your headlight switches last just about forever. Once this kit is installed the switches are used strictly for triggering the relay which is all low current. The relay has all the high current run through it instead. This kit doesn't replace the all of the wiring, but it does bypass most of it. This kit is designed to save your switches and your fuse blocks, and it does just that. Even with stock headlights these cars still wear out headlight switches so they desperately need these relay kits. There is about a 3 volt drop in voltage from the battery to the headlights and this relay kit will take care of most of that problem if not all of it. Once you install this kit then we recommend putting in a pair of our Hella H-4 headlights along with a pair of our hot bulbs. The Hella headlights come with a 55 watt lowbeam and a 60 watt high beam referred to as a 60/55 bulb. Our hot bulbs are a 80/120 and we also have Xenon hot bulbs available. See listings. With this setup you'll put out plenty of bright light to see at night, and you won't be blinding oncoming drivers like some headlights do. With the hot headlights and the headlight relay kit you won't overload your cars wiring, switches, or fuse block ever again. We also sell a relay kit for the dash and tail lights which is desperately needed in these cars as well. This is also a common failure point on these cars. Without that relay kit installed, the 240's have a tendency to burn the third fuse down on the right side. This won't happen if you install one of the tail light relay kits in your z. See listing.
