| The upper channel felt or glass run is critical to keep in good condition on all first gen z's. These are a high quality reproduction piece and are easily installed. These pieces are critical to keep in good shape. Water leaks, wind noise, and bent window regulators are all a potential problem if you have a bad glass run in your door. The lower glass run is just as important, see listing. This is the insert that goes into the stainless channel that goes around the window when it is in the raised position. Another name for this part is the glass channel run. This is the upper felt, and it is the same on all coupes from 70-78. The 70-76 coupes all use a lower glass felt as well and it is just as important as the upper piece. It is not visible when installed but it is critical to use it. If you don't have good felt in these cars it can bend window regulators and it can even cause glass to break sometimes when you close the door. These are a direct fit and are easy to install, but you have to remove the channel from the door to properly install them. This gasket fits either side. This version will not fit the 2+2 vehicles, that requires a different part, see listing. For the lower felt see listing. Note: The 77-78 coupes and all the 2+2's, don't use a lower glass channel felt. Last update 04/11 |
