Keep in mind that this is automotive carpet, not house carpet. Automotive carpet is thinner and not as plush as house carpeting is, but you don’t walk on automotive carpet either, so it doesn’t need to be as thick.

You may have seen one of or both of our molded kits for sale by other vendors. While they may not tell you outright that their kits are a perfect plug ‘n’ play fit for your car, a lot of them definitely imply it in the way they word their advertising. We’ve installed most of these carpet kits in Z’s and ZX’s, many times through the years, and we know the pros and cons of all of these kits. We'll be adding these kits one at a time to our online store as time goes on. This is our top of the line kit for all z's from 77-96. For the 2+2 models from 77-83 we recommend using the front kit only in heat molded and the rear deck carpet in sewn molded. It will save you a lot of money and give you just as good a product. For the coupes, just order a complete heat molded kit.

All molded kits (regardless of construction style) need to be trimmed around the edges on the front sections, and all bolt or screw holes need to be cut. All kits for these cars (regardless of manufacturer) are available only in a trim to fit kit. No one makes a plug'n'play kit for these cars anymore.

These are a special order only item, and they take about a week for us to get them in stock. They must be paid for in advance, before we'll order them.

This is the stock replacement for the center console and it's a direct bolt in. It includes a factory lid with metal hinges that opens sideways. They do not include ANY other hardware of any kind. They come with a removeable plug so they will accomondate factory choke cables for the 260 Z's.

This is a quality unit and are a GREAT addition to your Z car, both for comfort and looks.It uses a metal hinge on the right side, and the lid is overpadded to a perfect height for an armrest for both the driver and passenger at the same time. They are wider than the console so if both people want to use them as an armrest at the same time, there's plenty of room for both. This is a quality unit and are a GREAT addition to your ZX, both for comfort and looks as well. It uses a metal hinge on the right side, and the lid is overpadded to a perfect height for an armrest. They are wider than the console so if both people want to use them as an armrest at the same time, there's plenty of room for both. The foam used in these units is perfectly firm so it is extremely comfortable. The mirror switches are still totally accessible on all models.

This listing is for all interior door sill plates for the 79-83 280 ZX vehicles. That piece is also known as the door threshold plate or the door scuff plate. They come in tan, blue, black, or red. These pieces are subject to availability and they are all used. New is not available anymore. When you order a piece be sure to leave a note in the comment section of the order form letting us know the color you want, which side you want, a backup color (in case we're out of that color),and whether you need one for a coupe or a 2+2.

This listing is for the silver in color, outer door sill plate. These pieces fit both the coupes and the 2+2 cars as well. You can't see this piece until you open the door and look at the bottom of the door opening. It's also referred to as a door threshold plate or an outer door scuff plate. This piece does not say Datsun on it, that style is no longer available. Uses 2 per vehicle. We do have used ones in stock as well. Call for pricing.
