Shipping

Z Specialties usually ships UPS and that is the only shipping estimate that you can get when using our online services.
We will sometimes ship USPS if it is more practical, especially on smaller items, or when shipping to other countries when applicable. This is up to our discretion though.

Actual shipping will be calculated after checkout is complete - store shipping calculator is only an estimated cost and may or may not be accurate. Remember that our store is not fully automated and it is not going to automatically charge your card for anything. We process your order manually at our physical store location.

Sometimes the shipping calculator will list a very high shipping rate that is a lot higher than what the actual cost is. If that occurs and it is a significant amount, go ahead and accept it.  We will credit you the difference when we process your order. You can put a note in the comment section of the order form if you're questioning the shipping charges.

If we're shipping your parts to any country outside the US borders there will be a 15.00 surcharge added to the shipping charges for the first 4 items, and an additional 5.00 for every 1-4 items after that. If you order something in a kit such as body gaskets, we have to list the pieces in that kit individually. As an example a 17 piece body gasket kit will take 5 forms to ship it.  The international postal commission has come up with new restrictions for shipping across any border as well as new forms to use. Besides us making a special trip to the post office during business hours to deliver your package, it now takes us a considerable amount of time to fill out these forms, and it also takes more time inside the post office due to this new procedure. Each form has enough room on it for only 4 items, and each item has to be priced and weighed individually, and this info has to be logged on the form.  If we're shipping international using UPS then we also charge extra handling fees but not as much as with USPS. Keep in mind that UPS does charge a brokerage fee and for other than small ticket items, the brokerage fee is usually quite substantial.  We're sorry for the extra handling charges but each time we go to the post office it takes us a minimum of 45 minutes plus the extra time involved for this new form process. These fees are not added automatically by the store, they will be added when we process your order. We all need to complain to the international postal commission.

These extra fees only apply when shipping out of country.
