| This listing is for a rebuilt manual controls style heater control valve with the capillary tube. We rebuild these mechanical cap tube style units ourselves and try to carry them in stock already rebuilt. If we happen to be out of stock when you place your order, we'll try to rebuild a valve for you as fast as we can. Keep in mind that the Z man does all the work here and that includes repairing all the z's in the shop> If he happens to be extra busy when you place your order, and we're out of stock on the valves, then it could take a week or two for him to work it into his schedule. If you're in a hurry for this valve, just let us know you'd like confirmation one way or the other immediately, just put a note in the comment section of the order form and we'll give you an answer asap. We do offer and carry a brand new direct bolt in unit, that does not use the capilliary tube. They are the best and least expensive way to go for replacing your heater control valve. They don't require any modifications to install them and your heater will still work just as good as the original valve. They sell for a fraction of the price of the rebuilt valves and there usually isn't any possible waiting period. The 60 day refundable core charge of $100.00 will be added to your order, by the store automatically when you place your order. The core charge time period starts from the date we ship it off to you. All rebuilt valves are guaranteed against leakage for a period of 12 months which starts from the date we ship the replacement valve back to you. When you place your order be sure to let us know if your capillary tube is still intact or not. It is critical to let us know in advance because if we send you a valve with the cap tube intact and the one you return to us has a cut cap tube, you will be charged for all of the core charge. Fits stock 1979-1983 ZX-cars. For your old valve to be an acceptable core it must be unmolested and intact. If it has been taken apart already or damaged in any way, then you may or may not get any or all of your core charge refunded to you. It is at our discretion as to whether your valve is still rebuildable or not, subject to inspection. If you order a valve with the cap tube intact then you MUST send us a core with the cap tube still intact. Never use pliers on the hoses when they are on a valve or a heater core, it can cause tube damage. Last update 01/11 |
